What you will learn
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
In this two-day workshop you will have the opportunity to learn how to make a blanket basket with handles. We will be working from 10am till around 3/4pm each day with plenty of time to discuss techniques and work on our baskets.
I will guide you through the process of selecting your willow, weaving the base and some techniques for weaving the sides and folding down a border. There will be plenty of scope for you to play around with the shape and make a basket of your choosing. Please note- colours of willow will vary depending on what varieties are available on the day.
This will be a small class of around 6 people so there will be plenty of time for questions and one-to-one tuition.
